# Hetzner Cloud Benchmarks When staring at the Hetzner "Create a server" UI, I always wonder "what does this actually mean?". So I did a bunch of benchmarks and compiled this small list. This makes my life easier and gives some context as to what it *actually* means. For context, my main computers are running macOS, which is fine, but I frequently need access to a powerful amd64 Linux system, and this fills this gap, without me having to buy a very expensive powerful amd64 Linux system. These VMs can be provisioned within seconds, reset to the same or a different distro within seconds too, and **should be shut off after use**. ## Current | Server Name | Geekbench Single | Geekbench Multi | CPU Mark | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ---------------: | --------------: | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------: | | Regular Performance x86 [CPX62](https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/14810454) | 1967 | 12181 | [36,691](https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V11/display.php?id=510657316025) | | Cost-Optimized x86 [CX53](https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/14941257) | 1318 | 9750 | [27,620](https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V11/display.php?id=510657056303) | | Cost-Optimized Arm64 [CAX41](https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/14810379) | 1062 | 8579 | [11,275](https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V11/display.php?id=510657124773) | | Dedicated General Purpose x86 [CCX33](https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/12511938) | 1954 | 7635 | [14,670](https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V11/display.php?id=510657214845) | ## Old (not sold anymore) | Server Name | Geekbench Single | Geekbench Multi | CPU Mark | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ---------------: | --------------: | -------: | | [CPX51](https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/12511791) | 1117 | 8171 | |
